Inaugural Post

Hey there!

Well, since our other site bailed on us, here we are at our new site!  Thanks for stopping by, and we seriously have every intention of keeping this as current as possible with pictures, stories, quotes, prayer & praise items revolving around our family and journey in serving.  Bookmark this blog and we'd like to keep up with each other!

To kick things off, here's a couple of pictures from a family day out last month...

Our family is so boss!  We love having some fun and wacky kids, and they are growing up so quickly!  Travis is doing well in second grade, and Hannah & Emma are really enjoying their Kita (pre-school).  Please pray for Leah and her hips/joints, as they are not developing as quickly as they should be, and she's been in a brace for the last few months.  We're trusting Him for great/encouraging news when we visit this doctor this coming Friday...

As we have moved into the fall months, our days have become a little more brisk, but we are enjoying being involved in a lot of English-teaching-based opportunities -- both started up independently on our own, and also in cooperation with a local community center.  We are seeing doors opening up, and we love being able to serve in this way, help others practically and build relationships with many individuals.  Thanks for thinking of us and keeping us in your prayers...

recently watched: the movie Lincoln
Have you already seen this Steven Spielberg historical drama from last year?  Very well done, excellently paced, and a great example of fighting for what you believe is morally/socially/spiritually right, especially in light of where you are and for what purpose.  We enjoyed it!

I just want you to know that an Awesome intercessory team is praying for you! We are diligent about bringing your needs to the Lord and posting newsletters.

Specifically we are praying for openness to the Truth and for the Holy Spirit to break through in the lives of individuals, so they would encounter Jesus Christ and His presence. What an awesome goal!

Be in prayer for us... We are emerging out of redevelopment and we do some pretty unique things. We are recognized in our town as a proactive church. Our statement is extracted out of an AB Simpson quote.

    Our Vision is to:
    • Hold up Jesus in His fullness, ‘the same yesterday, and today, and forever!’
    • It is to … Lead God’s hungry children to know their full inheritance of privilege and blessing for spirit, soul, and body.
    • It is to … Encourage and incite the people of God to do the neglected work of our age

His Fullness … Your Fullness … Our Mission

Do you ever connect on Skype... we are trying to upgrade our internet connection so that we can connect to the field. Ideally we desire to have live Q&As during a service ...either Sunday or mid-week

    Holdin' Him,
